Hydrawise and End User Plans Overview
The Hydrawise irrigation management system is free for most users worldwide. Hydrawise uses the award-winning forecasting technology provided by The Weather Company (which operates The Weather Channel and Weather Underground), as well as global Hydrawise Virtual Weather Stations (VWS), to meet the needs of the typical user.
However, some customers want to fine-tune their irrigation to provide even more water savings. The Hydrawise Enthusiast Plan gives you access to more weather stations, longer data storage times, instant SMS alerts, and improved weather history accuracy. It also provides the ability to monitor five weather stations at your location.

Upgrading Plan Using Credit Card
The Hydrawise system is free for most users worldwide. The Weather Underground award-winning forecasting and airport weather stations meet the needs of the typical user. For those interested in even more water savings, the hyper-local weather feature in the Enthusiast Plan provides access to more than 100,000 personal, airport, and official weather stations, and allows you to monitor five weather stations at your location. To upgrade or renew your current plan, please follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your Hydrawise account.
- Click on the Menu icon (
) on the upper left-hand side of the app.
- Under Account, click Account Details. Click the My Account icon on the upper right-hand side from the web browser.
- Under Plan Details, click on the (
) icon.
- Select Homeowner Plans.
- Select Plan. You will see options for purchasing a new plan.
Can I have multiple controllers per account?
Yes. Each plan has a limit on the maximum number of controllers permitted per account.

Note: As a contractor, the maximum manageable controllers include your own.
For example: If you have five controllers under your Contractor Starter account, you cannot add any more controllers. This means you will be required to upgrade to a Contractor Plan to increase your limit. In addition, if one of your customers has five controllers, this adds to the maximum number of manageable controllers.
Picture Storage
As part of our Hydrawise features, you get a set allowance for data. That way, you can upload personalized photos for your zones, file sheets, and other data for your customers if you are a contractor.

Auto resize is also available. This automatically reduces the file size of image uploads based on the following conditions:
- If the file size is greater than 1.5 MB, we reduce image size to 2000 pixels.
- All other files are converted to JPG.
