Traditional irrigation controllers haven’t evolved in more than 50 years – they still have the same clunky dials, perform the same watering cycle every day and their owners wouldn’t know how to change their watering cycles without the manual in their hands and a lot of patience and spare time!
Hydrawise has changed all that. Our irrigation controller was created with the specific aim of allowing you to take control of your irrigation with user friendly features. So if you want to change your watering cycle whilst you’re away – you can. If you want your controller to self adjust based on your local weather conditions – it can! And you can do it from your iPhone, Android phone or web browser.
The first Hydrawise controller was released in 2011 after the product went through more than 18 months of field trials. As the product went through field trials we kept on thinking ‘wouldn’t it be great if it could do this’ so we kept on adding user friendly features.
Almost 2 years after we launched our product we are still adding features. You benefit from our cloud based irrigation control – when we have a brainwave and add extra features they are generally available to all customers. There’s no need for you to upgrade for most features – they come automatically.
We see ourselves as an engineering company rather than a sales-based organisation. We’ll often add features to our controller based on coolness rather business value.
